Yale University and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University have agreed on the initiative of a common Summer School, all held in english, designed for selected Law and/or Economics students interested in Contract Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in an international context.
Courses will be held in English and will include classes in law and economics taught by French and American scholars, focusing on dispute resolution and contracts.
*Non-refundable from the first day of the program.
The Yale-Assas Summer School will be held from: June 22, 2026 to July 17, 2026
The number of participants will be limited to 30 (15 from each partner school).
To apply, students must meet the following criteria:
Preference will be given to students in their 4th/5th year of studies (M1/M2) and PhD students.
Applicants must have a sufficient command of the English language for studying the required readings and participating in rigorous classroom discussions.
Application period: from february 9, 2026 to April 4, 2026.

The program is composed of 65 hours of courses of Law and Economics, all held in English.
Topics will include: The Economics and law of contract enforcement; Economics and law of the burden and standards of Proof; Harmonization of Legal Systems; Dispute Resolution Mechanism in International Business Contracts.
In addition, some specific events will take place:
A detailed schedule will be provided to participants in due time.
Students will be evaluated through exams for each class and will be required to solve problem sets, based on the content of the lectures given by the co-directors of the program.
The final grade of the certificate awarded to participants will be calculated on the basis of the written examination grades and class participation (subject to change).
Attendance of all lectures is mandatory to obtain the Certificate.
