The Master in International Human Resources Management (IHRM) at CIFFOP, part of Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, has successfully renewed its EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) accreditation for a period of five years.
Awarded following a rigorous evaluation process, EFMD accreditation assesses a programme’s strategic positioning, academic quality, international dimension, corporate connections, and ability to foster continuous improvement. It includes an extensive self-assessment phase as well as a review by an international panel of experts, with students themselves contributing to the evaluation of their learning experience.
Accredited since 2017, the IHRM Master’s Programme had previously renewed its accreditation for three-year periods. Securing the maximum five-year renewal marks an important milestone in the programme’s journey and reflects its growing maturity and international standing.
This achievement is the result of a collective effort. It recognizes the dedication and commitment of the CIFFOP team, faculty members, students and alumni, corporate partners, HR professionals, the Formasup Paris Île-de-France Apprenticeship Training Centre (CFA), and the university departments that contribute to the programme’s success.
This renewed accreditation opens new opportunities for the future. It reinforces the programme’s ambition to expand its international footprint, deepen academic and corporate partnerships, and continue evolving in response to the major transformations shaping the human resources profession.
A Truly International and Career-Driven Programme
Since its creation in 2007, in partnership with leading multinationals, the Master IHRM prepares future HR professionals for careers in international and multicultural environments. Delivered entirely in English, the programme attracts a highly diverse cohort each year, with more than 70% international students representing between 15 and 20 nationalities.
The programme is built on three pillars that shape its identity: internationalization, work-integrated learning, and strong engagement with the corporate world.
Through the apprenticeship system, students combine academic learning with hands-on professional experience, allowing them to connect theory and practice throughout their studies. This immersive approach helps them develop both the strategic perspective and practical skills required in today’s rapidly evolving HR landscape.
Strong industry engagement is woven into every stage of the programme. HR executives and senior practitioners contribute not only as guest speakers and instructors, but also as mentors, members of recruitment and assessment panels, instructors and recruiters of young graduates. A wide range of organizations contribute to the Master IHRM ecosystem, including Accor, Bouygues Group, Crédit Agricole, Forvia, L'Oréal, LVMH Group, Renault, and Servier.
The programme also creates connections between academic research and professional practice. Drawing on the work of the LARGEPA Research Centre and ongoing exchanges with industry experts, students explore some of the most pressing issues facing organizations today, including the future of work, artificial intelligence, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, intercultural management, and new approaches to leadership.
Equally important is the individual support provided to students throughout their journey. Personalized academic guidance and a mentoring programme led by experienced HR professionals help students navigate both their academic and professional development.
