Since January 1, 2022, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University has become an experimental public institution, giving rise to a new teaching and research centre in the heart of Paris, based on a unique, integrative model.
OUR AMBITION
Paris Panthéon-Assas University, a new leading establishment with the ambition to accompany the new world order as a leading higher education and research institution in France, Europe and the world.
A pioneer in its approach, Paris Panthéon-Assas University is the first university in France to integrate four private schools, recognized as working in the public interest (EESPIG: Établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur Privé d’Intérêt Général or Private higher education institutions with a public interest). In addition to programs in law, economics, and those offered by the Maison des Sciences de Gestion and the Institut Français de Presse, the University has now added Efrei, digital engineering school, ISIT, institute of intercultural management and communication, CFJ, training center for journalists, and W, school of communication and journalism.
These four integrated member schools, leaders in their fields of specialization, provide strong added value in the fields of training and research. The group also includes a public partner institute, the Strategic Research Institute of the École Militaire (IRSEM) of the French Ministry of Defense, which provides expertise on security-defense and international relations issues.
The university’s academic tradition is thus enriched by the diversity of experience of its constituents. The member schools are an integral part of the University while respecting the characteristics and identity of each individual institution: a shared student card with access to the different campus’, joint degrees and research projects, truly hybrid training and research colleges, shared services that increase efficiency, and a commitment to agility in its institutional operations.
A historic alliance between the public and private sectors, based on strong and complementary expertise, allow us to cover all the key topics facing the modern world:
- Ethics, law, and justice
- Security and defense
- Digital transformation
- Interculturality and international relations
- Crisis management
- Information strategy
- Entrepreneurial skills
- Decision, issues, and emerging risks
- Finance, mathematics, and statistics
